We are currently looking for a Life Cycle Assessment expert with a solid grounding in Carbon Footprinting and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting who is eager to work in a high paced environment, to join our LCA and sustainability team!

Profile

As a critical part of our group, you’ll delve into performing comprehensive LCAs and Carbon Footprint analyses for a variety of state-of-the-art environmental management technologies and products.

Your work will encompass every stage of these projects, from preliminary research and data gathering to detailed analysis, final reporting, and formulating strategies for greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction. You will have the responsibility of carrying out Life Cycle Assessments on cutting-edge environmental technologies, assessing Carbon Footprints, and developing Environmental Product Declarations for various products and services.

Main responsibilities

  • Carrying out Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on innovative environmental technologies and products;
  • Assessment of Carbon Footprints and development of Environmental Product Declarations for products and services;
  • Prepare GHG emissions reports in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Communication with data suppliers, data collection and processing;
  • Preparation of technical reports on LCA modelling and presentation of results;
  • Writing the technical description on LCA tasks to be included in offers and proposals;
  • Collaborate with team members cross-functionally to support and leverage other services relevant to LCA;
  • Participation in projects’ meetings, workshops, discussions, review etc.

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience on LCA and/or environmental sustainability assessments and/or carbon footprinting, and/or GHG reporting.
  • Proven experience in using LCA software such as SimaPro, EaseTech and OpenLCA and relevant databases (e.g. Ecoinvent);
  • Familiarity with GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Scope 3 Standard.
  • Experience in Carbon accounting and Environmental Product Declarations (optional);
  • Working experience in Research and Innovation projects, in the fields of environment and circular economy is desirable;
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or related field. Master’s degree preferred;
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills;
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels (both Greek and English);
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office. Expert level in Excel is critical;
  • Able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as on teams;
  • Punctuality, Consistency, Professionalism.
