Technical Support to the Special Secretariat for Waters in Overseeing the operation of the National Monitoring Water Network

HPC PASECO, DRAXIS Environmental SA and EPSILON SA, as the Consultants of this project supported the Greek Special Secretariat on Water in the monitoring of the operation of the National Program for Monitoring the Water Quality in Greece. Among the responsibilities of the Consultants were: Monitoring of the operations performed by the agencies responsible for water quality measurements, verifications of the data collection and analysis protocols, support the national reporting to EU, EEA and other Agencies, Development of a data collection procedure between the Ministry and the involved Agencies, Development of a Central Water Database / Information System, development of a web site for data sharing and dissemination.
